Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 June 2026
Walls bln GmbH ("Walls", "we", "us") operates the website at walls.link. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Who is responsible
The controller responsible for your personal data is:
Walls bln GmbH, Friedrichstraße 155, 10117 Berlin, Germany. Registered at Amtsgericht Berlin-Charlottenburg, HRB 261645. VAT ID: DE368253655. Email: hello@walls.link.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to the walls.link website. It does not cover third-party websites we may link to, which are operated by others under their own privacy policies.
3. The data we collect
Contact data. If you use our contact form or email us, we process the information you provide (your email address, any name or organisation you give, the category and content of your message, and whether you mark it urgent) so that we can read and respond to your enquiry.
Server and log data. When you visit walls.link, our hosting provider automatically processes standard server-log information needed to deliver the site securely and reliably, including your IP address, browser and device type, the date and time of your request, and the pages you access.
Cookies and analytics data. walls.link uses strictly necessary cookies required to operate the site, and, only with your consent, analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies (Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel) that process usage and device information such as your IP address, the pages you view, and how you interact with the site. See section 9.
4. Why we use your data and our legal bases
To respond to enquiries you send us and take any steps you request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, and/or Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in answering messages); and to deliver, secure and maintain the website and prevent abuse (Art. 6(1)(f), our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning site, and Art. 6(1)(c) where we must meet a legal obligation).
For analytics and marketing cookies and similar technologies (Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel), we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, and § 25(1) TTDSG for storing or reading information on your device). These do not run until you opt in, and you can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (see section 9).
5. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf or, where you have consented, with the analytics and marketing providers below: our website hosting provider (OVH), which stores the site and generates server logs; Google (Google Workspace), which relays contact-form submissions to, and hosts, our hello@walls.link mailbox; and, only with your consent, Google (Google Analytics 4, via Google Tag Manager) for website-traffic analytics and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (the Meta Pixel) to measure our marketing. We may also disclose data where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. International transfers
Our hosting provider is located in the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, for example certain Google services, and Meta, in the United States, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the recipient is certified).
7. How long we keep it
We keep contact and enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your message and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete it, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and diagnostics. Analytics and marketing data are retained for the periods set by the relevant provider (Google Analytics and Meta) and your consent record is kept for as long as required to evidence it; you can withdraw consent at any time, after which the associated cookies stop being used.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection (to processing based on legitimate interests), and data portability. Where we rely on consent you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@walls.link. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit).
9. Cookies and similar technologies
walls.link uses strictly necessary cookies required to operate the site (for example, to maintain a secure session and to remember your cookie choices). These are always active and need no consent.
With your consent, we also use the following non-essential cookies and similar technologies, loaded through Google Tag Manager and blocked until you opt in:
- Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Helps us understand site traffic and how the site is used so we can improve it. Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC.
- Marketing (Meta Pixel). Measures whether our advertising brings visitors to WALLS. Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.
When you first visit, a consent banner lets you accept or reject these categories; nothing non-essential runs until you accept. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We use Google Consent Mode so that, until you opt in, these tools are held in a consent-denied state.
10. Children
walls.link is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our measures regularly.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the updated version here with a revised "last updated" date; significant changes communicated as appropriate.
13. Contact
